Sustainable Techniques: Master sustainable methods for extracting essential oils and other beneficial compounds.
Hands-On Experience: Create your own perfumes, therapeutic oils, and natural cosmetics.
Ethical Practices: Understand the ethical and sustainable aspects of plant production and trade.
Course Structure:
Over 6 weeks, immerse yourself in themed modules with a mix of theory, practical workshops, and study visits.
Weekly Breakdown:
Introduction to Medicinal Plants: History, cultural importance, and basic botany.
Sustainable Cultivation and Harvesting: Techniques for sustainable agriculture and plant preservation.
Herbal Properties and Applications: Use in aromatherapy and alternative medicine, with product workshops.
Extraction Techniques: Learn and practice different methods like distillation and cold pressing.
Perfume and Cosmetic Formulation: Create your own basic perfume.
Final Project: Develop a product or business plan and present it to industry experts

There are no prerequisites. Personal motivation and vision will be the main aspects that will be taken into consideration and evaluated in order to be accepted into this program.

High school diploma; a high-intermediate level of English or Italian language sufficient to understand and to participate in lessons; 18 years of age at the time of application.
-> ATTENDANCE
Attendance is mandatory. Classes and workshops are held from Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
-> HOUSING
The school will support students in finding an accommodation during the length of the course. The costs of living are not included in the tuition fee.
