FAQ
Get the answers to your questions here below.
Do I need a VISA?
If you are applying for a course longer than 90 days (e.g. 20 Weeks, 1-year Combo programs) and you are coming from any country outside the Schengen Area, you will have to apply for a Study VISA (type D).
The School will provide you with a series of documents you will need to submit together with other important documents you will have to cover autonomously.
Moreover, our Staff will always be there to help you navigate through.
Feel free to ask our admission staff any questions you may have about it.
Where can I find my accommodation? Does the School help me out with that?
We offer a Housing Service through Institutional partners we carefully selected, and through the School’s channels made available to enrolled students.
Please notice that the housing costs are not covered by the tuition fee and the ultimate choice of the accommodation is on the student.
Are materials for my course included in the fee? What do I need?
Basic materials and fabrics are provided throughout the whole course and they cover the realization of the multiple assignments to be completed and delivered.
Materials and fabrics for the Final Exam Collection – that you will have to showcase and present to a Commission – are not included in the course fee, as these projects belong to each student both from an intellectual and physical standpoint.
Each course may have other tools or equipment you will need to bring over; hence why you will receive a detailed list of what to bring to School before starting the course.
Which Language is the course in?
Our students come from all over the world, so the English language is and will always be the primary language of instruction.
A proficiency test may be administered and carried out by the School’s staff during the admission process for the non-English speaking applicants.
What documents do I need to submit for my application?
Upon being admitted to the course, you are going to receive a list of the needed documents to submit.
We will need your:
- passport
- a signed copy of the School’s contract you will receive
- Copy of the first payment issued
A motivation letter may be requested in order to complete your admission process.

Which type of Diploma will I get?
Upon completion of your journey with us at SCHOLA, you won’t just be walking away with a piece of paper. In Italy, professional training courses are managed by the Regional governments under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, which means that what you receive is technically not a degree, yet this does not affect or minimize the skills you have acquired or learned by any means.
In fact, the real value lies not in the Diploma itself, but in the knowledge you’ve inherited through our Mentors, and the extensive technical and theoretical preparation you’ve received. This ensures a high standard of education designed to equip you for either an entrepreneurial career or a role in the design, fashion, craftsmanship, or culinary arts industries.
Can I tour SCHOLA?
Of course, we would love welcoming you here.
All you have to do is reach out to our staff to schedule a visit, and then… just enjoy the experience!
Can I join your Online Open Days?
Of course you can! Follow our Social Media channels or get here to find any information you are looking for.
I don’t have any relevant experience in this field. Can I still join the course?
Technical skills can and will be taught, commitment and enthusiasm will not: our courses do not feature any pre-requisite simply because We structured our programs for you to acquire all the relevant knowledge while attending your path.
